Sulphur is the natural enemy of blackspot and powdery mildew on roses.

It is common knowledge and in the public domain, that these diseases were less common when sulphur dioxide was emitted by coal fires and industrial pollution prior to the 1968 Clean Air Act.

Sulphur Rose has been previously known as - Wettable Sulphur - Sprayable Sulphur - Soluble Sulphur.

The favourite diet of roses is a well fed, heavy acidic soil of 5.5 to 6.5pH. If you are not blessed with acidic soils or the leaves are a little pale in colour then a dressing of Sulphur Soil will be ideal in correcting the problem. Our Soft-Water Sulphur will maintain the achieved pH level every time you water your plants, particularly when using hard tap water.
