SULPHUR SOIL Sulphur Soil is the perfect long term choice when you wish to make your soil more acidic. Most plants (not all) prefer a slightly acidic growing condition, but ericaceous varieties in particular can only thrive on very acidic soils. Sulphur Soil will reduce the alkalinity of any soil and the effects can last up to two years. Apply twice a year - every six months - to reduce the pH by approximately one unit.
